European Cybersecurity Certification Conference – Warsaw 2025
On March 12, 2025, Warsaw hosted the highly anticipated European Cybersecurity Certification Conference, organized by ENISA in collaboration with the Polish Presidency and the European Commission. This year’s event not only celebrated the first anniversary of the EUCC certification scheme but also provided an in-depth look at the evolving landscape of cybersecurity certification across Europe.
Attendees gathered in a dynamic hybrid setting, enabling both in-person networking and online to discuss significant developments in the cybersecurity field. Among the many forward-thinking topics addressed were:
- eIDAS and the EUDI Wallet: An exploration of the cybersecurity certification processes that ensure secure digital identity and transactions.
- EU Regulatory Interplays: Insightful sessions examined the interactions between the EUCC scheme and other pivotal EU regulations such as the CRA, Cyber Solidarity Act, and NIS2.
- Success Stories and Ongoing Challenges: Industry experts shared real-world experiences of the EUCC implementation, highlighting notable achievements while candidly addressing areas for future improvement.
- Risk Management: Comprehensive strategies were discussed on how EU cybersecurity certification plays a vital role in managing risks within the digital ecosystem.
EUCC Award Ceremony
A standout moment of the conference was the EUCC Award Ceremony, a landmark event recognizing the first accredited Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) under the EU Common Criteria framework. The ceremony marked a significant achievement in enhancing trust and credibility in cybersecurity across the EU.
