The EU Cybersecurity Certification Week 2026 (14-17 April 2026) successfully concluded in Ayia Napa, bringing together stakeholders from across Europe to advance the EU’s cybersecurity certification agenda and strengthen digital trust.
The Certification Week was organised within the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU 2026 by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), the European Commission and with the support of the Office of the Commissioner of Communications – Digital Security Authority. The week fostered alignment among national authorities, industry experts, certification bodies, and policymakers.
The highlight of the week was the Cybersecurity Certification Conference, emphasizing the critical role of the certification ecosystem. National Cybersecurity Certification Authorities, conformity assessment bodies, laboratories, IT Security Evaluation Facilities, and developers showcased their contributions to ensuring cybersecurity assurance across digital products and services.
During the Conference, the Head of the NCCA, Mrs. Xenia Kyriakidou and the Legal Officer Mrs. Suzana Pavlidou contributed to panels, discussing among others the availability of CABs under the Cyber Resilience Act and the views under the proposed Cybersecurity Act.
Throughout the week, discussions emphasised the importance of sustained collaboration and a shared commitment to delivering robust and trustworthy cybersecurity solutions across the European Union.
The event marked tangible progress in advancing certification schemes, strengthening cooperation, and reinforcing alignment across institutions and stakeholders.
