Scope: To certify ICT products such as technological components (chips, smartcards), hardware and software.
Assurance Levels: There are two (2) assurance levels based on the level of risk associated with the intended use of the product, service or process, in terms of probability and impact of an accident. These levels are the “substantial” and the “high”. The EUCC does not allow conformity self-assessments.
Benefits: Certification under the EUCC scheme demonstrates that an ICT product has undergone rigorous third-party evaluation ensuring its security functionality and resistance to vulnerabilities. This certification is recognized across the EU, enhancing market access and credibility.
