Who is NCCA Cyprus?

The National Cybersecurity Certification Authority (NCCA) of Cyprus supervises and enforces the regulations outlined in European cybersecurity certification schemes for the monitoring of the compliance of Information and communications technology (ICT) products, services and processes.

In Cyprus, the Digital Security Authority (DSA) has been designated as the NCCA.

DSA is responsible for safeguarding the country’s critical information infrastructure and promoting a secure digital environment for society and businesses.

Under the supervision of the Commissioner of Communications, the DSA comprises of four (4) departments:

Regulatory, Strategy and Supervision Department
Responsible for the supervision of NIS Directive.

National Computer Security Incident Response Team (National CSIRT-CY)
Cybersecurity incident management for critical information infrastructures in the Republic of Cyprus.

National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCC-CY)
Raising awareness and promoting cooperation on cybersecurity in order to build a strong Cybersecurity Community.

National Cybersecurity Certification Authority (NCCA)
Ensure the effective implementation, supervision, and enforcement of European cybersecurity certification schemes for ICT Products and Services.
